Since 1982 the TV6 Canathon has been collecting non-perishable food items for local food pantries across Upper Michigan. Since then, the people of Upper Michigan have donated over 4.8 million pounds of food to help feed a hungry neighbor.
This year, TV6 is partnering with the United Way of Marquette County to provide a monetary donation option. Monetary contributions made to the Canathon help to supplement the nonperishable food collections, and provide assistance for each pantry to purchase perishable items on an as-needed basis. If you wish to make a monetary donation, please visit the “DONATE” page of this website.
Please see the DROP-OFF POINTS page for locations to make a direct food donation in your community. Participating schools in Upper Michigan schools are included for your reference.
Please donate during this year's TV6 Canathon, and help feed a hungry neighbor!
